Most people hear credit scores and think it's just a random number the bank looks at! In reality, this number affects some of your biggest financial decisions, like getting a car loan or renting an apartment. So why does it matter so much?

đź’ł Now what is a Credit Score?
A credit score is a number that is usually between 300 and 850, that represents how 'legible' you are with loans.
It's based on your credit history - how you managed debt in the past years.
The higher your credit history:
the more trustworthy you look to lenders/banks 🔑
the easier it is to borrow money đź’°
lower your interest rates are ⬇️
The lower your score is:
the more 'risky' you appear ⚠️
the harder is to get approved for a loan ⌛
the more you pay in interest đź’¸
In simpler words, it's like a 'Are You Trustable' radar that banks or lenders look at!
Now we will move on to what affects this important score!
📊 Factors that affect the score
Payment history - do you pay bills on time?
Credit Usage - if I have $50 limit, and I use $40, that's high usage
Length of credit history - the longer you have accounts open, the better
Credit mix - having different types of credit (cards, loans) can help
New credit inquiries - applying for too many loans can lower the score
